Sunthetics received building permit to erect a CHP2X plant at the Lillaeng site

After many years of work on technology and preparations with tests and certifications of system parts, Sunthetics are now deploying the first set of CHP2X power plants, and one is located at the Lilläng 19MW plant site that is providing district heating for ~6000 persons in the Skutskär area, and operate on biofuel. Next is the construction of the CHP2X system that enable local production of solar fuel. 

The target is to verify operational safety, production rates and costs (CAPEX and OPEX) in front of the following plants at other sites. The plant site is part of the Älvkarleby municipality and a collaboration with the Sunthetics industrial consortia partners, RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) and the Royal Institute of Stockholm.
